The house system was devised to promote team spirit and a sense of belonging to the school. Also, this enables the senior students of the school to more systematically provide care and help to their junior schoolmates. The House system provides excellent opportunities for student leadership and peer group support, added by dedicated staff members, and house captains led by our Managing Director, Dr.Pankaj Raj, who has been conferred with several prestigious awards till date. Our school, our students and teachers have also been recognized for their excellence in not just academics but art, culture and other arenas.

Each child entering JGPS is placed in a house and is gradually introduced to the ethos of the institution. Each house has a house master and house mistress to whom he/she may turn for assistance at any time. All students from class-I and above are placed in four houses and all activities academic, co-curricular and intramural is based on Inter-House competitions.
St. Jagat Gyan Public School organized a virtual guest speaker programme on various topics for the students of classes VI to XII. The guest speaker was Dr. Sujit Singh, (author and mental health coach.)
The guest speaker programme was attended by the Director, Dr.Pankaj Raj, the Principal, Smt. Jasmanti Devi, the Vice Principal Mrs. Sunita Singh and all teachers of school. While addressing the audience, the director emphasized the importance of learning. She also added that words and advice definitely guide students through the darkness and help them reduce, if not totally overcome their grief.
To get a feel of the happenings around the world and compete at global level, children of St. Jagat Gyan Public School Nagri, Ranchi participated in the WORLD SCHOOL DEBATE held annually.
It’s an opportunity for students to demonstrate their understanding of scientific concepts through practical applications and creative presentations.
St. Jagat Gyan Public School bids a ceremonious adieu to the class XII students for their bright and prosperous future. A farewell is organized to bid goodbye and good luck to class XII.
